Sumera is one of our staff scientists who joined the team in October 2019.

Sumera is a state-registered Biomedical Scientist, with over 10 years’ experience in Histopathology. In addition to immunohistochemistry, her special interests include MOH’s and specimen dissection.

In her role at UK NEQAS ICC & ISH Sumera assists laboratories by providing technical and trouble-shooting support. She also carries out testing and quality control of material for assessments and helps with the Scheme’s scientific writing output.

Sumera is currently on maternity leave.
