Deepa joined the UK NEQAS ICC & ISH team in August 2022.

Deepa is a state registered Biomedical Scientist with over 20 years’ experience in Cellular Pathology.

In addition to immunohistochemistry, her areas of expertise cover all aspects of routine histology, specimen dissection, and quality management.

Deepa has considerable experience within the area of Head and Neck Pathology, and in this context has learned techniques such as ploidy analysis.

As a Staff Scientist at UK NEQAS ICC & ISH, Deepa provides technical support to our participants. She is also involved in testing and quality control of material for assessments and scientific writing.

Deepa participates in many of our general and specialised assessments.
